In order to launch the new iPhone and lead the telco share of voice in Canada, our team at TELUS decided to think outside the box and compete with other carriers even before the device hit the market. We decided to phase the launch with a teaser campaign that would generate buzz through social media and digital channels but with one caveat - we would not mention the device! As the social media prime for the device launch, I was able to generate positive conversations for the brand through smart and tactical creative that lead share of voice at 61% with the highest positive sentiment among the big 3 telcos.
